one thing that does stick in my head is the time i was a temporary hire at a bookstore, working under the unofficial agreement that if they still liked me once my probationary period was up, they'd hire me on permanently. i started in september and they had me commuting 20 miles a day (no expenses paid, naturally) on three different trains and working insane hours right up till christmas day for minimum wage while repeatedly extending my probation and saying they just needed "a little more time" to decide. and then as soon as the christmas period was over they fired me on the spot

#when i say on the spot i *mean* on the spot #a guy just took me aside in the middle of my shift and was like hey so.. it's not working out... but thanks for all your hard work :)#i was like wait what. what happened. did i do something wrong. and he was like no you've been great! it's just not working out anymore :)#that was all i got. he couldn't come up with a reason.#at the time i was confused and upset because my performance evaluations had been overwhelmingly positive #in hindsight: really obvious that they were dangling the 'permanent position' carrot over my head to get me to work overtime at christmas #anyway if anything radicalised me that did #remember: you can half kill yourself for a company if you want but it is never worth it! MINIMUM WAGE = MINIMUM EFFORT

Extremely quick and dirty speedpaint of a dream I had last night

#other art #I was at like a wildlife center with wolves and this one '''wolf dog''' (which was the size of a deer and I forgot about that til now)#was keeping pace with the pickup truck I was driving ('I was thinking 'wow that's 40 mph')#It started chewing on a hole in the fence and I was kinda like ruh roh but ignored it and moved on to other dream activities #Then later I'm talking to some guy and hear an explosion and the bed of my pickup truck was on fire (dream logic dictated this is where the #engine was) and the dog was there. Had kind of an 'OH YOU!' moment with it #Like not actually that bothered by this dog blowing up my vehicle #The fire was bright blue and I was thinking 'hey I drew something like this recently' and then everything else started catching on fire #And I was like Oh my god I have to go into The Tunnels to retrieve my belongings so they don't get burned #(There are always tunnels in my dreams). And I think I failed to do that because the tunnels were on fire too. Then my parents had #to pick me up. Don't remember these last bits very well

I am in a rare tbhk mood since months but idk if I will have the energy to do it I will be honest the main reason is because of how Akane is seen by most of the fandom I honestly feel really out of touch with how he is viewed by most people which is the reason I always started and never finished x'))) ( 2/3 persons being the exceptions rip (from people who express themselves about tbhk, I know a lot of persons don't talk too))

So it's a maybe! but honestly I won't promise it ahah writing my thoughts (especially in english) , even when half of them are insane and not really linked directly to the manga, take a long time and I don't have much ^^

I still think he is a good character in the most recent chapters (which unfortunately can't be said for all characters :') He had bad appearances in chapters when he was in this kinda limbo before the clock keepers/grim reaper arc but after he just didn't, which once again clearly can't be said for everyone biggest rip(expect for chapter 109 but I just think this chapter sucks in general and even in this horror he was probably one of the best character help me)

I have big fears for him because of how inconsistent AidaIro is tbh With the need they have to make some characters the highlights and destroy the others just to make their favs look good. So I kinda expect Akane and the clock keepers mostly to be dunked on in terms of writing. (I wil always love them, like all mysteries ♥)

But I am happy to see this question, it made me laugh and I am surprised some people remember ^^
